The Palm Tree: An Answer to A Healthy Heart
- The Most Powerful
Form of Vitamin E
- For Healthy Heart and Arteries
PalmVitee by LaneLabs is the only tocotrienol supplement we know of which is
completely made from concentrated PFAD. It contains over 50% pure tocotrienols.
Two capsules contain at least 250mg of tocotrienols form the gamma, alpha and
delta tocotrienols families.
Like hundreds of thousands of other heart-healthy Americans, you probably
take a daily Vitamin E supplement. And that's very good. Vitamin E is a generic
name for the family of tocopherol and tocotrienol compounds that is widely found
in plants and animals. The vitamin was first discovered as an anti-sterility
factor and then characterized as a vitamin in 1922 and later designated as
vitamin E in 1925. Few people realize that there is a significant difference
between tocopherols and tocotrienols. Tocopherols are the vitamin E family
everyone knows. But their cousins, the tocotrienols may be much more significant
for heart and artery health. Your vitamin E capsule probably contains 100%
tocopherols and no tocotrienols, as they are much more expensive than
tocopherols. Moreover, some forms of tocopherols are synthetic; tocotrienols are
naturally sourced.
There are four different types of tocotrienols and tocopherols. Some, such as
gamma tocotrienols are extremely powerful. Research suggests tocotrienols in
total are potentially more effective in their antioxidant power than the common
forms of tocopherol due to significant differences in chemical structure. Some
scientists believe the unsaturated side-chain in tocotrienols makes them
penetrate tissues with saturated fatty layers more efficiently which provides
greater antioxidant effect.
While tocopherols are generally present in common vegetable oils (i.e. soy,
canola), most tocotrienols, are concentrated in cereal grains (i.e. oat, barley,
and rye, rice bran), with one of the highest level found in crude palm oil.
Still these are diluted sources of tocotrienols. Expensive, multiple
distillations are required to provide any reasonable of concentration of
tocotrienols.
The highest quality among Tocotrienols: Palmvitee. Palmvitee is
different. It does not come from grains or oils. Rather, it is derived from Palm
Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD), a waxy by-product that is removed when palm oil is
refined. Palmvitee is the only tocotrienol supplement we know of made from
concentrated PFAD. It contains over 50% pure tocotrienols, something you won't
find in other tocotrienol products.
In the past, Palmvitee has been available exclusively to researchers for
clinical studies. Because of its concentration and purity, Palmvitee has been
the one tocotrienol used in much of the promising research that has sparked
interest in tocotrienols. The supply of Palmvitee is extremely limited, with as
little as 50 kg of Palmvitee per month produced. Fortunately, LaneLabs has made
an agreement with the leading Palm oil manufacturer in Malaysia to provide
Palmvitee to its customers. You will not find Palmvitee from anyone else.
Proven support for artery health
Multiple clinical studies have
demonstrated the value of Palmvitee for cardiovascular health. In one study*,
daily consumption of Palmvitee was shown to be 92% effective in maintaining
and/or improving arterial health. Twenty eight percent of users who took 240 mg
of tocotrienols from Palmvitee daily for 6 months saw a measurable improvement
in artery health, while less than 1% saw their artery health grow worse. Of
those who took a placebo, 40% saw a measurable decline in arterial health. These
are significant results.
