PalmVitee® - Testimonials

A Researcher’s View
Vitamin E comes in 8 different forms. Three of these outperform all the rest. Palm Oil Research Institute of Malaysia (PORIM)

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble natural antioxidant that helps protect unsaturated fatty acids in the body against free radical formation. Many experts agree that, as a free radical scavenger, vitamin E plays an important role in protecting cardiovascular health. In nature, vitamin E exists as alpha-, beta-, gamma- and delta-tocopherols and alpha-, beta-, gamma- and delta-tocotrienols.

In research studies, tocotrienol vitamin E (specifically, alpha-, gamma- and delta-tocotrienols) was shown to be significantly more effective as an antioxidant than tocopherol vitamin E. And the concentration of tocotrienols – including the highly active gamma and delta fractions – is higher in PFAD (Palm Fatty Acid Distillate) than in either crude palm oil or refined palm oil, making PFAD the preferred source for the extraction of tocotrienol vitamin E.

Numerous studies have been conducted
Several animal and human studies have shown an association between vitamin E and cardiovascular health. Several of those studies focused on tocotrienol vitamin E from PFAD (Palmvitee).

In a 1988 study, Qureshi et al. demonstrated positive effects from alpha-, gamma- and delta-tocotrienols on blood biosynthesis.

In 1991, Mahadevappa et al. demonstrated that tocotrienols have a beneficial effect on blood platelets.
In 6 separate studies (Atoshi et al., 1991 and 1992; Qureshi et al., 1991 and 1993, Tan et al., 1991 and Wahlqvist et al., 1992), tocotrienol concentrate from PFAD (Palmvitee) was found to support healthy cholesterol levels.
